Always busy, food very goid, alwats fresh, great selection. Small parking + street parking - usually a challenge.
Cool place. But I brought some fried fish and got home to eat onky to find a worm in the fish. Careful!
This is the most bland polish sausage i ever had. No garlic, no black pepper, no care taken when makiing it! It varies in thickness by almost 3/4 of an inch? Shameful
Great polish food
I’ll preface this by saying that Andy’s Deli has very good Polish food. But….the staff at the deli counter either don’t speak English or they refuse to do so. Either way, they seem to be comfortable with only catering to their Polish clientele. Fortunately, there are many other Polish delis that are more accommodating and just as good. I wish I knew how to say “bye Felicia” in Polish.
I've lived in Gladstone Park nearly 3 years and I wish I'd checked Andy's Deli out sooner. Many interesting vegan foods including crackers, sunflower bread, many pickles and mushroom varieties, and ajvar. I love that many of the Polish and Ukrainian imports are very clearly labeled as vegan.
Small, but serviceable produce section. I couldn't quickly find anything that seemed vegan in the fresh prepared food section but it's possible I missed something.
For heartier fare, I found frozen vegan potato pyzy (dumpling), kluski, and blueberry pierogi. I purchased a few drinks, but so far I've only tried the matcha kombucha which was refreshing. At checkout, the woman at the register was kind.
Most exciting to me were the fresh pickle tubs. The pickles I got were among the best I've ever had; huge, garlicky, with a perfect snap. I'll be back soon for more.
Heads up to fellow vegans: the fresh bread looked great, but after flipping most of them over, all had buttermilk as an ingredient.
Everything was very good !
5 stars , great Food here
This place was the real deal had everything that you could imagine and make sure that you can understand polish because that's all you will see on any of the packaging
Hadn't been there for years. This time it was cleaner and better organized. There was a big crowd at the meat counter but service was quick so that the wait time was next to nothing. I will return soon.
Going here over two decades (since I was a boy). I've lived all over chicago land and burbs and been to countless other deli's over the course of my life. This is the best, hands down, Noone else comes close. Always fresh, always good. Always variety, always affordable, always kind, always coming back for more <3
They 10p0% earned this review and then some.

Delicious. Great spot, did I say delicious?
Best & most authentic Polish Sausage!
Wonderful. Genuine Polish deli. Red beet borscht (barszcz) soup by the pint. Fresh homemade polish sausages. Just finished par boiling them and then baking then in oven. See picture.
If you don’t speak polish be prepared to be treated rudely. Very rude like they where offended I spoke English. Potatto pancakes are really good so I’ll put up with there rudeness. Lol
Polish
