Every time we go to Anelya is an amazing experience. I've loved everything I've had and the variety of zakuski (small plates) means you can taste a lot of different dishes. Service is always on point, welcoming, & helpful.
We had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the Crimean olives were good and the Poltava was a standout, with great creativity and an excellent blend of flavors. The broccoli salad was another highlight, fresh and well-seasoned.

The biggest disappointment, and the main reason for 3 stars was the borscht. While the flavor was okay, it lacked salt and it was very overpriced at $20. Charging that much for a dish known for its frugality is quite audacious....
music too loud, lacking ambiance. Other than the food, nothing else to suggest this was a Ukrainian restaurant. Needs some Ukrainians music, low volume. Difficult to carry on a conversation with the speakers blaring.

Wheelchair accessibility: Difficult to maneuver with a rolling walker.Street parking is limited.
