Special place with delicious upscale Ukrainian food with beautiful presentation. Lovely decor with wood accents. Professional, but personable service. The cocktails and infusions perfectly complimented the food. I was skeptical about Ukrainian food, but have been totally won over!!!
There is nothing I would not order from here. From the Zakusky, we got the Egg Mayo, Pashtet, Trout Roe Tart, bread, and cheese stuffed peppers, but I would have eaten the entire cart. For our mains, Lokshyna, Borsch, and Pork Belly. If you drink, do not sleep on the horseradish infused vodka! The service is casual and welcoming, the hand soap in the bathroom is delectable, and the drinks were top notch.
Anelya is unassuming, gracious—and quietly brilliant. Chef Kim was seating guests herself. No announcement, no pretense. You'd only know it was her if you knew. (We knew.)
