I dropped by for dinner a few months ago on a whim. It was quite packed inside but I was able to get a seat at the bar. I ordered the cauliflower salad, the lamb stew, and a citrus flavored cake and they were all quite good. The servers were friendly and knew the menu well. Portions were not very big for the price and the lamb could have used some bread or carb to anchor it. Anteprima is a lovely little spot with delicious food, but I felt as if my table was shoehorned into a line with other diners, and my companion and I literally were yelling at each other to be heard during the entire meal. Looking at the ceiling, you can tell that they've tried to do something about the noise level, but there's only so much you can do when you've got every square inch filled with people. The service was excellent. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. The food was fresh and flavorful. We had the orchiette with spicy lamb sausage and the Chianti braised beef. We loved both. The desserts were also delicious. We had the tiramisu and the carrot cake. I highly recommend that you come here for a wonderful culinary experience.
