Inclusively diverse, Archie's Cafe consists of two rooms and an outdoor, covered patio ideal for warm weather. The food is tasty, the owner and staff friendly. The bar features cocktails and an assortment of beers and wines. Most nights feature performances, often musical, until ten. There is no cover charge for these events.

Great little coffee and wine bat. Super baked goods. Very nice people. Sadly Loyola will destroy the entire neighborhood soon and tear down the vintage property using TIF money given away by the City who let's Loyola run wild over many neighbors objections and doesn't need one dime of the TIF.AND I THOUGHT we finally found a good alderperson. Must be the developers donate more to our local politicians than their constituents.

this is a place that has potential but really needs to figure out what kind of a place it is. They change the hours frequently, and it seems unsure if it's going to be a coffee shop, cafe, bar, or some combination of all three. I think it would be better if they just picked one of those and stuck with it, because it can be inconsistent, for instance the few times I've been here only once were they actually serving food

Cuuuute little 2nd wave style artsy café. They pull a great, balanced espresso and can offer you sparkling water alongside. Unfortunately the entrance is totally inaccessible if you use a mobility aid, but there is lots of sidewalk level outdoor, shaded seating. Maybe call ahead and see if they can come up and take your order outdoors? ♿?
Wheelchair accessibility: Poor. Entrance goes down several steps to the bar. However, outdoor sidewalk-level seating is available.
