I love the smashburger and SALT makes a very good one. The patty is pressed really flat and is grilled up until well browned, crispy and lacey. The onion rings are fantastic. This is really close to a 5 star smashburger, one of the drawbacks for me being that the standard fixins on the OG burger (specifically tomato and smash sauce) can leave the bun soggy and messy. So I'm always looking for a good burger joint. It's unusual that's I find one I haven't heard of though. This one popped up tonight on a search and I thought it was a mistake. Taking up the old IDOF space on Sheridan, this newish place is a solid spot for burgers. Honestly the burger I had (a double with everything plus peppers) is one of the best I've had in forever. It was a Saturday, so the restaurant was extremely overcrowded. They didn't have enough seating for people who wanted to come and sit the burger the fries the sauce the watermelon drink was all really good. I'd go back again but not to this location.
