It is a dark neighborhood bar with mostly older men at the bar during the day. I have never sat at the bar so I can't say much about it.They also have a carryout side with beer, wine, liquor, and soft drinks. They actually have a pretty good selection and the prices are reasonable.
Best and oldest neighborhood Bar in Roger's Park. One of it's unique attributes is that it's one of the few remaining Bar / Package Goods locations where you can sit and have a beer, chat with Matt or Tim and then grab a sixer and a half gallon of milk to go. Good location, good service. It has a mini-supermarket and liquor store next door where you can find a wide variety of items, wines, liquors, etc. 100% recommended and has a ramp for wheelchairs. And in the bar you can see different sports presented on the screens.
