This place is great.. their food is delicious and their drinks are great too and reasonable priced. Unfortunately they’re going to have to close soon because Loyola is buying the building and evicting everyone.
Inclusively diverse, Archie's Cafe consists of two rooms and an outdoor, covered patio ideal for warm weather. The food is tasty, the owner and staff friendly. The bar features cocktails and an assortment of beers and wines. Most nights feature performances, often musical, until ten. There is no cover charge for these events.
Great little coffee and wine bat. Super baked goods. Very nice people. Sadly Loyola will destroy the entire neighborhood soon and tear down the vintage property using TIF money given away by the City who let's Loyola run wild over many neighbors objections and doesn't need one dime of the TIF.AND I THOUGHT we finally found a good alderperson. Must be the developers donate more to our local politicians than their constituents.
