The 100% Akaushi steak was amazing. Bone marrow mashed potatoes were delicious. The traditional Spanish salad was overpriced for well-dressed lettuce, but it tasted delicious, and we figured we should eat a vegetable. Also ordered all three pintxos, and my favorite was the caviar churros. Ordered the citrus coupe for dessert, and it was perfectly balanced and refreshing after a heavy meal. I will definitely go back for the Afternoon in Bordeaux cocktail :)
Had a fantastic first visit. Joshua took great care of us with thoughtful wine recs and great presentation and coursing. The kitchen was kind enough to gift us the berberechos feature.
Food and service were outstanding. Joshua was particularly helpful in navigating the menu (we eventually went with a taste of Basque approach). His knowledge of wine and ability to converse about it with us made for an enjoyable evening. While many consider the restaurant a steakhouse, the seafood dishes we had were spectacular. We look forward to going back soon.
