I came in here on a Sunday early evening. Everyone seemed to having a great time, and the place is very lively. But it smelled very locker room to me so we left...
Atmosphere has AMAZING…you guessed it…ATMOSPHERE! I came here broken, tired, defeated, but the bartender poured me the vodka soda of my dreams that made all my ailments melt away. This institution is truly a pillar of the community, and if I could live here, I would. On top of this, everyone here is so sexy, so I say 69/10

Small, but great energy and music. Wuick service at the bar, but the drinks are a bit pricey for a local bar. They have food, but I didn't eat there.

Ok people hear me out DANCERS ARE BACK! Music is banger too they should give that DJ a raise! It was packed to the brim in here on the weekend after Halloween, we had a great time and everybody else was too. Such an unpretentious place to go dancing, I love it.
Negative stars if possible. Walked in at 6:45 on a Friday and maybe 10 people max sitting at the bar and no other patrons anywhere else in the bar. We went to put two bar stools side by side, not obstructing the service area where one would order drinks, and the only bartender was so rude he said we couldn’t move the bar stools and then walked around the bar to put the bar stools back. When my friend simply say ok don’t need to make it a big deal, and went to put the bar stool back, the bartender then said he wasn’t going to serve him. We immediately walked out. Too bad since we had such a great experience here during Andersonville Street Fair.

I miss the days when you had to fight to get to the bathroom because it was packed. It’s so dead in here on a Sat night at 10pm. Bring back the dancers they bring you business. It feels like when it was a cash only bar and no one came in.

I've lived in Andersonville for 5+ years and have been going to Atmosphere since that time. (More often during the pandemic and post.)
I loved this traditional "Dive" bar. A good drink, a calm environment and great service!
Who doesn't like a little end of the day get-a-way from your WFH job?!
I particularly liked that the new owners (since covid) decided to bring back some of the old-school traditions from Atmosphere's past.
Themed music/dance night, Thursday night Stripper Bingo and others.
Great ideas and activities to pull in patrons.
And of course, the tradition that has been at Atmosphere always...Dancers on Friday and Saturday night!
I loved that Atmosphere was the only male pole dancing bar in my area!
Some of those dancers have great skills on that pole! Atmosphere or Cirque du Soleil: The Dive Bar Show? You decide!
Business seemed to be going well! They had built up a new/larger following since the pandemic.
I wasn't always a fan of the crowds (too jammed pack), but it was keeping the bartenders busy and the dancer collecting the $$$.
Some minor complaints about some of these changes...
The music/DJs...music is sometimes way too loud. Especially on those night where dancing isn't really happening. I'd like to be able to talk to my friends when I'm hanging at a bar.
Friday and Saturday 'dance/DJ' nights were becoming overly crowded to the point where it was a journey just to get a drink, tip a dancer or get to the bathroom.
In my opinion, Atmosphere doesn't have the best dance environment. There really isn't the space. But if you're going to make it a dance place, have an area where the music isn't as loud. An escape, where the speakers are turned off or put on LOW. Maybe the raise area by the windows?
Again...minor complaint or improvements that would make my (and probably others) 'dance/DJ' night experiences better.
BUT NOW, SOME BIG COMPLAINTS.
In the past year or so, some major things have been changing or removed from Atmosphere.
FIRST, the pole was removed. WHAT?!?!
Many of us were shocked and confused by this change. Why? What was the purpose of this change? Safety? A very upsetting change.
Then recently, they stopped Thursday Stripper Bingo.
OK, maybe I understand this...the crowds weren't always huge, but it was a great device to bring in a good crowd on a normally slow Thursday night!
Then the FINAL nail in the coffin! NO MORE DANCERS!
This was, for me, the biggest draw to come to Atmosphere on a Friday and Saturday night.
Even if I was somewhere else on those days, as soon as 10pm came I looked at my friends and would say, "Atmosphere for the dancers?" And we would all drag our asses to Atmosphere!
Now it's gone!
Well, things change...not sure if it's for the better but the owners have made a choice.
I hope it works out for them because I think for a lot of the regulars...it does not!

Omg ever since the dancers got cut it’s not the same. Almost 10 and it’s empty. 35 people here and it’s 930, back then it used to be packed by now. Would get here by 830 to get a table. Saving X amount on stripper insurance must be making up for the lack of patrons.
Bring the dancers back!!!!!
