The service was supreme! The sommelier was friendly and knowledgeable . Our server was quick to serve us those delicious delights ( we ate everything on the menu,from appetizers ,small plates and large plates and Desserts !)It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Chicago restaurants, but I would advise anyone who wants to visit avec for atmosphere,fine wine selections and Mediterranean food- This is the one!

Amazing! We got a half order of the chorizo bacon wrapped dates and they were so good! For dinner, we had the chicken and branzino. Neither disappointed! They have either communal tables or you can sit at the bar! It's a small restaurant so I recommend making a reservation in advance.

My wife and I had a wonderful birthday dinner before a concert. Got there at the end of happy hour and ordered some appetizers at the bar while seated there. Went right into dinner and shared a couple of entrees and had leftovers we brought home. For the birthday treat my wife ordered an awesome affogato. Very highly recommend this place for its Mediterranean food and service. Great for a special occasion but not very quiet if that's what you are looking for.

As always good is delicious and has options for veggie focused folks. One of my favorite spots in chicago.

Avec never disappoints! The food and service is always wonderful. We went on a Sunday at 3:30 and it was perfect for an early dinner. The food is innovative and delicious. Overall service is outstanding. It does get crowded so going early is the way to go.

Food was delicious but i wish there was more interaction between our server and us for ordering. If i did not google before we went I would not know what to order. Don't expect warm and fuzzy service .They were too busy. The hostess and bus staff did more for us than our server. The speediest thing our server did was as to give us our check.

Food was great! I was there with my Latina niece to celebrate her birthday. I hit the birthday button and both the greeter and the server wished her a happy birthday. It was sad that she noticed when a four top (all white patrons) table got a piece of cake with a candle and she didn't get a candle. I even ordered a dessert that I paid for to give them a chance... Odd because our waiter also was not white. Hopefully just an oversight...
