Terrible customer experience. My friends and I had rented a few lanes for Friendsgiving. I forgot my ID, but they don’t require IDs before 7:30 (if the owner is reading this feel free to check the camera and timestamp - It was 2 Thursdays ago). I showed up before then. They didn’t let me in. Did not follow their own rules. Acted superior for whatever reason. Insane comments they made I won’t go into on here. My friends and I will never go back. People that I tell will never go in the first place.
They don’t care about their customers - it’s a pattern in their reviews.
Hopefully the owner(s) read this, chat, connect with the team and change a few things.
BTW, I’m a high level local guide because I visit many places and this is a first in Chicago for me. I wouldn’t go to this length if it wasn’t terrible, a place to avoid for those searching Google.

Nostalgic bowling experience. Must visit if you're in the neighborhood. You need to keep score by hand - difficult after a few pops. Pricey but fun.

It really is retro. I didn't even think about the bowling scoring machines, but you can imagine the surprise on my face when I was handed a piece of paper and a pencil to record my own score. I had fun here. Very simple bowling place with great vibes and a throwback to the past. Now if only I had bell bottoms to wear.
Parking: I think there's a side street to park on, but there is also a lot of nearby road construction. Rideshare there if you can.

Wonderful bowling alley with the coolest vibe. Our group had several young kids and they were so accommodating. The drinks at the bar were amazing and the service at the bar and the bowling counter was so warm and friendly. Highly recommend for adults or kids, will absolutely be going back.
Kid-friendliness: Provided kids bowling shoes and a ramp for the younger kids to use while bowling.

Fun bowling alley with an incredible bar. Cocktails and selection of other drinks were very good. They don’t make food but you can order food to be delivered there.

Absolutely love this place, small, intimate, and without all the chaos that usually occurs at Brunswick style lanes. Will absolutely come back!

I love this alley. The bar and bartenders are fantastic and I absolutely love the white Russian slushies. The lanes play well and I love keeping manual score. It's fun to have everyone join in and teach your friends how to score like the old days.

Rude staff, faulty equipment, cramped seating
I showed my Mexican ID to the guy at the entrance (I’m visiting family in Chicago) and he told me he needed to see another document, otherwise I wasn’t allowed to get in. This is the only place in Chicago or Illinois where this has ever happened to me. It’s worth mentioning I ended up going to 3 other places that night and could get in with my ID without any problem.
