I learned about this place on a meetup group to the French Market. The whole railroad underground thing is super fantastic but at the end of the day nothing magical. But still very GREAT!!
Flavor of tea in milk tea not as strong as I would like. Dimsum alright, portion kind of small.
This is a vendor in the Chicago French Market. The staff was very friendly. I tried their bubble tea, a roasted oolong milk tea with lychee jelly. It was really good, definitely exceeding expectations! The tea was legit! You can adjust the sugar and ice levels. I got it unsweetened which was good for me - the lychee jelly added a little sweetness - and forgot to ask for less ice like I usually get, but the regular ice level was perfect to keep my drink cold outside. I also got my drink with almond milk - they get big bonus points from me for offering almond and coconut as non-dairy alternatives for the milk teas.

Great, authentic, shrimp dumpling!
Great taste and bubble tea
I got the veggie dim sum and was very disappointed. I was hoping there’d be tofu in the buns or potstickers for protein but it was very basic veggies lacking serious flavor. My food wasn’t hot either. I probably wouldn’t come back!

I was super excited to try their bao and dim sum! It was delicious and the buns were by far the best part! Would recommend those to anyone. It was super filling, less is more.

So when you are looking for a wide variety of every cuisine. Step into the French Market. The atmosphere is just what the doctor ordered. My grandson absolutely loves this place. He loves bubble tea, and these guys no how to deliver. The dim sum looks as good as ever. You won't be disappointed coming here.
Vegetarian options: Oh the variety that you can find is amazing.
Kid-friendliness: With a wide variety of different flavors and combinations this will definitely hit the spot.
Wheelchair accessibility: The whole French Market is on the first floor so getting around is easy.

Honestly some of the best veggie dim-sum I've had, not to mention the boba tea is pretty good. Wait is a little long but I think it's well worth it for fresh dim-sum. Boba takes a lot less time if you're just off the train and want a quick boba tea, but I think it's worth your time to wait for some fresh, hot food!

Got two Thai milk drinks with Boba added. They're sign on one side of the place is priced incorrectly so we got charged $1.25 per drink more than expected (not $4.25 plus $.50 for boba). Drinks were flavorful but the Boba was too hard making the overall drink less enjoyable.
Coming off the train we were thirsty and wanting a refreshment. We stumbled across this stand in the market and we found it quite tasteful and refreshing. We didn’t get any of the Dim Sum but hopefully look forward to getting some soon. I went with the Mango Ice Blend w Boba and it was delicious and the right amount of sweetness.
Their food was okay but took a while to make. I advise you - don’t buy the milk tea or slushie. Their bubble tea tasted fake and artificial. The service was okay. I don’t mean to discourage but their bubble tea wasn’t the best.
