I picked-up lunch at Cubano Bros for the first time yesterday. The lady at the registration was very nice & also helpful! I ordered a Cubano, the guava & cheese pastry, & a Materva soda. The Cubano was very good - one of the better ones I've had, but I am no expert. The guava & cheese pastry was good but not the best I've had. Cubano Bros operates a small stand located in the French Market; therefore, there isn't much to the ambiance. The service is good; however, I have missed them on several occasions due to them closing early. I recommend calling first to ensure that they are open prior to going there before closing hours. Visiting from out of town, I had an El Cubano while waiting for a train in the mid-afternoon on a weekday. Staff was friendly and service was quick, and the sandwich was delicious. Thanks y'all.
