Visiting from out of town, I had an El Cubano while waiting for a train in the mid-afternoon on a weekday. Staff was friendly and service was quick, and the sandwich was delicious. Thanks y'all.

I picked-up lunch at Cubano Bros for the first time yesterday. The lady at the registration was very nice & also helpful! I ordered a Cubano, the guava & cheese pastry, & a Materva soda. The Cubano was very good - one of the better ones I've had, but I am no expert. The guava & cheese pastry was good but not the best I've had. The Materva was good, too, and the staff helped explain all the differences between the Cuban sodas. I'm skeptical of trying new places, but Cuban Bros did not disappoint.

Best Cuban sanguich you will find in Chicago. Outstanding!

Cubano Bros operates a small stand located in the French Market; therefore, there isn't much to the ambiance. The service is good; however, I have missed them on several occasions due to them closing early. I recommend calling first to ensure that they are open prior to going there before closing hours. The food and coffee are great! I have had the culato several times and it is always on point! My son and I tried the Cubano sandwich today and we both enjoyed it. The bread was crisp, and the meat was flavorful and fresh. There was more mustard than I've had on other cubanos, but it wasn't bad. I was content with the size of the sandwich. It was a little pricey at $11 a sandwich; yet, it was cheaper and more filling than 90 miles Cuban cafe. I will definitely be back for a culato and to try their breakfast cubano.

They never get my order right. Like not even close. Order a cumbano, get vegan toast with avocado.

Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the French Market and a favorite spot for all of my coworkers for lunch! I've tried all of the sandwiches and they never cease to disappoint. My favorite is the Media Noche, but the Cubano is very close behind it! What sets Cubano Bros apart from other sandwich spots in the market is the bread. It's always homemade and definitely takes like it! It's never dry and just makes the sandwiches even more impressive. They tend to get a pretty long line right around noon, but are surprisingly quick without skimping on quality! The staff are also always friendly and helpful. Definitely highly recommend!

We have been searching for a tasty Cuban sandwich and everywhere else around has fallen short. Cubano Bros is where it's at! We ordered the El Cubano and man was it good!! Their bread is made fresh and you can tell by the crispy outside and soft interior. They have the perfect amount of ingredients between these two slices of bread packed with tons of flavor. We'll be back for sure!!

This is a very special find. So I come back from Miami it is near impossible to kill that Cuban goodie craving. This place is legit! It is another small yet stellar place to eat in Chicago French Market. El Cubano is the best in the chi-town and surrounding area. Bread is crispy on the outside and cloud-like on the inside. The ham, the roasted pork, the mustard, the pickles..spot on. As is the coffee so if you want to break the routine of morning go-to coffees, you better go on and get that hot café con leche, colado, or cortadito, you won't regret it. Then there are the pastelitos, addictive and just like the ones I had in a Little Havana bakery. That sharp and creamy combo of guava and cheese in flakey pastry works so well. I'm hearing stories and seeing articles that say their dough is shipped from Miami, thats awesome. Gotta try the ropa vieja and lechon asado bowls...plus they serve breakfast here too so i will be coming back, no doubt.

Located in the French market by ogilvie. $14.92 for a Cuban and a bottle of water- not terrible price for the area. Walk up to the counter and order. No seating there but I got it for the train ride home. Excellent Cuban bread. Just the right amount of meat for me. Will definitely get again. Friendly fast service.

Amazing. I ordered a couple things here, ate one, which was good, walked 3 blocks, then ate the rest-at which point I turned around, and went back to get more. Time was not on my side either, but it was worth it. The bag/wrapper might look greasy, but the food is not.

Always friendly, speedy service and of course the food is great!! Don't forget the coffee, cortadito is my fave.
