Cheap drinks are the best thing about this bar. It doesn't have that much else worth saying about it. Babe's is a place for the locals around here. Good if looking for any cheap beer or basic liquors. The bar has a few TVs for watching games or whatever. A few good cheap drinks. It had $3.50 PBR on draft the last time here. There's not much of a draft selection. A lot more is available in bottles and cans. There's a few local crafts along with the big corporate ones. Just not a whole lot to be honest. The liquor selection isn't that good either but at least it has pretty good prices. Basic dive bar. It's nothing at all fancy. They also may have pizza but it's probably best not to get any though.

I want to like this bar. The bartenders are great. But the bar culture is not. They have a Trump bobble head behind the bar and one of the regulars threatened us with violence because we sat too close to someone. This is not a welcoming bar unless you are a hateful election denier. Avoid it unless you're a bigot like the regulars.

Love this place watched cubs and sox win yesterday, had a blast - brightened my day - bartenders funny and friendly - owner Gerry the best! Patio slots and nice comfy Chicago classic bar.
