When I think about our trip to Chicago, the first thing that comes to mind, is Bang Bang Pies. I have never been in awe of such a place. The staff was so kind and patient. We had the most DELICIOUS pie and breakfasts I can ever recall. I can’t remember what my husband got because I am still drooling over the BLT with those earth shattering tomatoes that tasted like heaven. We ordered 2 dessert pies and a cookie and even though we got our cookie right away, for some reason, the pies took a very long time to come. But when we reminded them of the order, the staff was extremely nice and apologetic for the delay. They even gave extra desserts just to make up for it. The service was exceptional, just as good as the pies and cookie.
Slow service. But the food was great. The matcha s'mores pie was amazing and I don't even like matcha. But very annoying that just to get another cup of coffee I had to stand in line again for a long time.
