We had their "build your own appetizer" board. Raita dip, hummus, olives, cheese, bread, and crackers. It was lovely and yummy. The ambience is what keeps bringing us back. An absolutely stunning view of downtown from LaSalle St between Ontario and Erie, looking East.

We had a reservation for 8, and when 4 of our friends came to make 12, they accommodated us by making a larger table. They also graciously took some amazing pics (at our request). Thanks again!

Beautiful rooftop with amazing city views. It has a great atmosphere. The food was delicious but I found the drinks to be too strong, a little more balance would have made it perfect. Overall the service was great and I enjoyed the evening!

The view of the Chicago skyline is enough reason to visit. Then add delicious, shareable Mediterranean dishes and interesting wines and cocktails plus great service and you have magic!

Restrooms were dirty, staff on their cell phones constantly except for our server who was attentive but had to return 3 times to tell us what was 86ed. 3 bartenders in the weeds and I couldn't figure out why.
We love Avec. This was our first time at bar. The atmosphere is fun (but loud), but we felt really rushed. We ordered 4 dishes. The first dish came out, then the next 3 all came at the same time and didn't really fit on the table. This is after I mentioned up front we didn't want the food to come out all at the same time. Need to do a better job with pacing if you want diners to put the full order in at once.

We are huge fans of Avec. Have been going to all the restaurants for years. We came to the Bar last night to celebrate our daughter's birthday with her friend. We ordered drinks and appetizers. After our drinks were served we were asked if we were ready to order entrees. We placed the order even though we hadn't received appetizers yet. Appetizers came out and immediately after all our food started to come. The 4 top tables are small and they kept cramming more and more food. We asked twice to please slow down service and hold up trying to bring everything all at once but that didn't really happen. We felt very rushed. There were a number of open tables so not sure why we were made to feel we had to dine so quickly and flip the table. We'll be back, but please remind servers and kitchen acknowledge size of table and to pace to allow an enjoyable dining experience

Don't go here unless you want to wait 30 mins trying to track down your server. If this is what it's like with a reservation, don't bother walking in.

They were very unwilling to serve basic full bar beverages outside their 5 drinks on the cocktail list. They did after some pressure, but I would expect to have any reasonable drink from any bar.
