Bar Louie -University Village

Love this spot ! Was good to be back there. Hadn’t been in over 3 years, since I moved to Bloomington

Terrible service, no one said hi, the bartender passed twice with out acknowledges us. The only person who said hi was the photo guy. Very disappointed

My date and I had a wonderful time at this location. The atmosphere is lively, the drinks were strong and the food was good. I definitely recommend this for a quick bite or date night.

everything has been good here except the fact that the chicken tenders are so depressing.. 17.95 before taxes. for this with an extra ranch. no fries. (i won’t lie i ate one chicken tender before taking picture) however most times you get 2 long ones and a bunch of super small ones. for the price they should 5 large tenders or come with a side. if not lower price. i will support this place because service and atmosphere are great for me but i always leave feeling ripped off when i open my tenders.

The food was different in the sense of size. The wings were 18 dollars for 10 small and I do mean small wings. The salmon sliders and flat bread are ok and the fries. Other than that, you’re looking at a $139 bill with two drinks. Service charge is included for 19 buckaroos and that’s only two people.

We didn't eat anything because we asked the server for vegan options and he rudely replied, "I don't even know what vegans eat for real, so..."

I suggested to my son that we leave. The server then replied, "We have an Impossible Burger".

It's important for the wait staff to be familiar with the menu. In this day and age, a lot of people have dietary restrictions and it's important to be educated on what to serve.

I like Bar Louie and have eaten at the establishment many times. I hadn't had this experience prior.

I don't know the waiter's name, but he was short, light brown skinned with locs. We were at the restaurant on Saturday, /12 around 4:15pm.

. We sat in Ryan section on the patio and he served us and he was nice, he didn’t get anything wrong, he was so nice and respectful I love that for us. He so cute I love him

Bar Louie on Halsted is the top choice in the Chicago area. The food and drinks are always served quickly and taste great. It's my favorite happy hour spot by far!

Came to bar Louie today and the service was amazing!! Even though it was crowded the team seated us immediately, and the waitress was at our table within minutes. The drinks were great, our waitress MiMi was attentive, and every table looked well serviced, happy, and enjoying their meals. Definitely the best Bar Louie in Chicago!

I really like Bar Louie, but they charge an automatic 18% gratuity. If you are not paying attention you would pay the 18% and then a tip on top of that. It's 60.00 for 2 drinks and an appetizer. You can go to a real restaurant for 60.00. Happy hour is the most affordable time, any other time...it's pretty expensive for Bar food.
