Based on the reviews, Ph.D Pub Chicago is a chill local hang with a heated patio that allows guests to smoke their own cigars until 2:00 AM. It is a dope little sports bar with a nice big outdoor patio. The cocktails are unpretentious and very fairly priced, with an old fashioned available for $9. For food, Tuesday’s are for Taylor's Tacos. The vibe is always chill. It was a silent party with headphones, and the staff was attentive and very helpful. Drinks were reasonable and tasty. A denim and diamond themed birthday party was epic, with a signature denim and diamond drink with sparkles. The staff was very welcoming and helpful for events. First time visitors call it an underrated gem. The back room is available for parties, and guests can use their own playlist. Bartenders are professional and attentive.
