Green Goddess salad was excellent. Added salmon. Greens very crisp and fresh peas were al dente. Avocado and the dressing made the salad very creamy and yummy. Wonderful acoustics allow you to speak in normal tone with dining partners. Tables well spaced. Service very friendly and attentive. Never felt rushed.
Always a treat to eat here. Moments after we sit down, hot broth and popovers with a sweet, compound butter arrive at the table. It's immediately calming and welcoming, much like the dining room's general decor. The menu is small, but offers classics as well as some interesting innovations. I think what's so impressive is that the whole experience manages to balance classic with hip in a way that makes everyone feel like they belong.
Its a classic place, the service is good. Food slightly overpriced but my son's burger was tasty. The mandarin souflee wasn't as good as I remember but the popovers and consume are always a hit. We had a beautiful view by the windows and had great service. Our waiter Mike was great
