We stopped here because of the Polish restaurant and my wife is Polish and she likes to eat the foods that she used to eat while growing up in Poland. Staff were pleasant and the food portions were large and the food was delicious. This particular establishment seemed to have a little more traditional food as the dish that I ate with sheeps stomach stew that actually had pieces of sheep stomach.

I went in with my family, the girl in the front was very nice, she did not speak English so she went and got an older lady from the back. This older lady came out to talk to us. She was very rude. She asked us what we wanted and what we were doing there... Her tone was very rude and it seemed that she was bothered and upset that we were there. All we wanted to do is try some food. At this point, we realized that she did not want us in there. We asked for her name, but she refused to give us her name. We left after that. This skinny older lady was very rude and pretty much refused to service us. I am very upset at how she handled the situation and its too bad that we did not get to try any food. I hope this older lady gets fired for her actions.

Absolutely lacking in service. Attempted to dine on Sunday 06/23/2019 at aprox. 4:30 P.M. After waiting over 15 minutes for a server to take our order we walked out. There were other tables of customers as well that were also being ignored. There is no excuse for this.

Always 5 stars for this place! Been coming here for many years! The girls even know my order by heart! Very fast and always friendly! That is the reason I keep coming back! Oh...and the food is great! Homemade and always fresh! Parking is across the street and it's free! Other wise u have to park on the street..and who wants to pay the city 4 that?! (Rhetorical question) lol Great job as always Barbakan! You have stayed consistent and I love it! ???????
