Barrelman’s a solid neighborhood bar—good whiskey list, plenty of local beer on tap, and solid vibes overall. Had a Weller pour and a Revolution Anti-Hero, spent about $30. Bartender was friendly but service was a little slow when it got busy. Still, comfy spot to watch a game without the usual Lincoln Park bro energy. Not perfect, but def a go-to when you want a chill night out.

Easily our favorite place in the neighborhood. The owners are kind, fun, attentive, and make you feel like family. It’s the type of place that makes you glad you live in Chicago. They have excellent rotating beers, they’re dog friendly, you can bring/order you own food, they have sports, they have board games. On good days and bad days, you’ll find me at Barrelman.
