Old fashioned diner. Not a lot of circus, the food is as good as homemade (or better).Edit: The original review was from 2 years ago. The review stands - great place to enjoy a well-done breakfast. The staff is always pleasant and helpful.The only thing that I don't like is from a business standpoint - they make paying incredibly easy with a digital QR code. We (family of 6) came to Chicago for a family vacation in Mid March 2024. One morning we found this absolute GEM of a restaurant. AMAZING food, very quick (5-10 mins for 6 people with a full house), great price ($100 for 6). Family owned, so great ambiance. Totally recommend!

Absolutely wonderful local spot for comfort food. Excellent, hyperefficient service - we were a party of ten on a busy afternoon, and we got seated in less than ten minutes and served shortly after! Wide variety of delicious food, from chilaquiles to potato pancakes to burgers. Also, breakfast all day! And try the skillets, they're great!
