“50th birthday brunch! Great service and great food!“

“Me & my mom wanted breakfast the morning after the AC/DC concert on May 24th 2025. So I googled food near our hotel and it brought up 2 places on our way back home. So we decided here so we drove to this area and parked. When we got inside at first I was like I don't know about this place for breakfast because of the vibe I was getting at first seemed more like a place for dinner. We got sat down to our table and even looking at the menu I was still getting the vibe they were more of Diner for lunch and dinner. I almost told my mom lets go and pay for the drinks and lets go because the options for breakfast were somewhat limited.
Well thank goodness I bit my tongue and just let ride because I was completely wrong. We ordered it was super busy gave us time to look around each of us. The old skool diner look was so amazing and cool. Having old school candy, soda and ice cream too is something you don't see too often especially in a big city like Chicago. It gave you that old style diner my grandparents and my mother went to in their younger years.
My ice tea was some of the best ice tea I have ever had from a restaurant. Then our food came out. Omg 😲 😱 our eggs were huge with nice big strips of bacon. And the sausage links were some of the biggest ive ever seen. Me and my mom got different sides she got pancakes and I got French toast. I have never seen French toast so big and thick as well and so much flavor the syrup just added to it. My mom's pancakes were as thick as sandwich. I got to taste some of them and they were so fluffy and delicious as well. Everything was absolutely perfect and i mean perfect some. Everything was cooked to superb perfection. I haven't had a breakfast soo good like this in my life. Again I am so happy I didn't say lets go and find another place I would of regretted it.

Oh let's talk about our waitress she was absolutely wonderful always checking on us making sure my tea was refilled and my mom had plenty of coffee too. Oh the bus boys were on point too always clearing the tables around us and taking a plate when we were done. The manager even came around to ask how everything was. Our hostess that sat us was so friendly too. This place was everything and more.
So if you're looking for an old skool diner that has out of this world food look no further than Eleven you won't regret it“

“My wife and I had a "terrible"y great time this morning for breakfast. Roxy and Ziggy really gave the best experience. The food was great, portions were big, almost as big as the personalities of the staff. They really know how to throw down in this place, napkins, condiments, straws, food, etc. I loved going while they were a little slower to really get the full imersive experience. Thick skin and a big stomach are requirements to enjoy yourself. Truly an experience you need to do at least once. Think Dick's last resort with actual good food. The more you give them the more they give you😉 On a serious note though, they do a great job with allergy awareness, and take it very serious which is a good feeling. P.S. - The window sill pickles are indeed just real pickles someone left there, and not decor, I don't recommend touching them.... but i hope Ziggy had a good afternoon snack🤣🤣“

“I went to Chicago Diner twice during my most recent visit to the city, and I’d go back anytime. It’s an amazing place for vegetarians- it has that classic American diner feel, but you don’t miss out on anything just because it’s all vegetarian.

“I loved it. Have been passing by this place since over a decade ago and never had the time. By coincidence I checked it out a few days ago and I ordered a double cheeseburger with onion rings and it was delicious! I also had a chilli which I recommend if you’re into dips! Very good service. “The food was good but the service was meh. We had to tell the waiter to several times to bring silverware, cream, napkins etc. They were not that busy it seems like they were not organized im still waiting on a spoon for my grits, I ended up using the same spoon that I used to stir my coffee.“

“This place has an awesome menu! We were on vacation and stumbled upon this gem. It was a humid 90+ degrees outside and our meals came with soup, which sounded horrible, but oh man did it hit the spot. I wish I lived nearby during the winter. I would be there daily!“

“I haven't been in this long time restaurant many years. this restaurants been around for decades. the food is always really good in here. they're nice people that work in here. you have a huge menu of items to choose from. it's a nice atmosphere in there. this place is located in a vibrant neighborhood. you have a lot of public transportation options to choose from. the 36 Broadway is real close. other bus routes or the 77 Belmont bus the number 8 Halsted and a few others.“

“Cinderella's Diner was first established in The Back of the Yards in the early 1950s! Helen Borowicz runs the iconic diner and it was some of the best homemade food I've had!!! The cozy 15 seat diner will give you that nostalgic feeling! I'm already thinking of my next visit!“

“Entered the restaurant a little after 4:30pm and was greeted by a waiter/host. Few people were there and the atmosphere was relaxing. Placed the roast turkey and dressing order. Shortly people started to arrive. Within minutes the order was ready.

“Had amazing food here. I came from Florida and I was supposed to go back on Saturday but it got canceled due to a snowstorm. Finding this place was the blessing in disguise. The food was fantastic, the staff were nice, and I’ll say it again the food was great. Everything tasted Fresh and it’s all at a great price.
