“My wife and I had a "terrible"y great time this morning for breakfast. Roxy and Ziggy really gave the best experience. The food was great, portions were big, almost as big as the personalities of the staff. They really know how to throw down in this place, napkins, condiments, straws, food, etc. I loved going while they were a little slower to really get the full imersive experience. Thick skin and a big stomach are requirements to enjoy yourself. Truly an experience you need to do at least once. Think Dick's last resort with actual good food. The more you give them the more they give you😉 On a serious note though, they do a great job with allergy awareness, and take it very serious which is a good feeling. P.S. - The window sill pickles are indeed just real pickles someone left there, and not decor, I don't recommend touching them.... but i hope Ziggy had a good afternoon snack🤣🤣“

“Stellar spinach and artichoke dip as well as buffalo chicken with ranch salad. I forgot to get photos doh!! Great cinnamon French toast. I found it so difficult to choose. Planning to go back after checking out the neighborhood to take away more stuff like the spinach artichoke dip and thai chilli wings. Make sure to go on an empty stomach. We had to wait for a table and then got coffee across the street which maybe was a mistake. It was less I could eat and drink here. Updated from previous review on 2026-08-02“

“Very energetic and somewhat loud crazy place for breakfast (anytime) and lunch. Popularity with locals and visitors, Eleven City has a wide variety of diner foods, including excellent Reubens and other similar sandwiches. The vodka lemonade is also tasty.

Expect a wait at lunch time and make sure everyone joining you is there when you’re seated. They don’t allow late members to your party.“

“I loved it. Have been passing by this place since over a decade ago and never had the time. By coincidence I checked it out a few days ago and I ordered a double cheeseburger with onion rings and it was delicious! I also had a chilli which I recommend if you’re into dips! Very good service. Modest prices.“

“The food was good but the service was meh. We had to tell the waiter to several times to bring silverware, cream, napkins etc. They were not that busy it seems like they were not organized im still waiting on a spoon for my grits, I ended up using the same spoon that I used to stir my coffee.“

“This place has an awesome menu! We were on vacation and stumbled upon this gem. It was a humid 90+ degrees outside and our meals came with soup, which sounded horrible, but oh man did it hit the spot. I wish I lived nearby during the winter. I would be there daily!“

They text you when you're up next, so you can go for a walk in the park and watch the dogs/puppies in the dog park and if you have kids there is a playground nearby in the park, too. They have gluten free options as well. The chicken and waffles were amazing!! Same with the orange juice!“

On a Sunday during peak brunch hours, there was no wait. Easy in and easy out. Seems like people aren't too aware of this spot. This is a shame since the food was amazing. The ham off the bone, the French toast, the skillets, everything was delicious! It's definitely worth a visit.“

“Had amazing food here. I came from Florida and I was supposed to go back on Saturday but it got canceled due to a snowstorm. Finding this place was the blessing in disguise. The food was fantastic, the staff were nice, and I’ll say it again the food was great. Everything tasted Fresh and it’s all at a great price.

“The restaurant is blah looking when you go in, not the usual aesthetic restaurant you see in Chicago. More of the old style diner, it's decently clean. It could use a bit of work though.

BUT the food is delicious!! I was craving a sugary meal and they did not disappoint. Thank you for the great food and service.“

“I have dined at White Palace Grill about 4 times now, and I must say it is one, if not, THE BEST 24-hour diners in Chicago! Your food will come out perfect and at the right temperature. Also, the servers are awesome! one of my favorite servers is Keywon (sorry if I spelled it wrong). He is very polite, well mannered, and will check on your table to make sure you are good.
