“This is one of my very favorite restaurants. It’s like going to a very basic and plain restaurant from the late 50’s. All of the food is exceptional. The waitresses are kind and one of the waitresses is sassy but has a heart of gold.
From the outside of the restaurant you would never ever guess what was waiting for you inside. I go here on Sunday mornings when my week has been a hard one to reset my life.“

“This place was absolutely amazing! The food was outstanding, and the atmosphere had so much charm and character. The staff worked seamlessly together and were incredibly warm and welcoming. My meal arrived quickly, which made the experience even better. Without a doubt, this was one of my favorite places I dined at during my vacation!“

“This was my first time eating at Douglas Avenue diner and it was really good. I enjoyed the jumbo shrimp on fish fry Fridays. I got the coleslaw and potato pancake as my sides and oh it was amazing. Not everyone’s coleslaw makes the cut but this one was quite tasty. I didn’t catch our waitresses name but she was fun and attentive and carried great conversation. It was very clean inside. I even noticed the front staff helping hold the door open for an elderly woman coming inside. I can’t wait to come back and try breakfast.“
