“This place was absolutely amazing! The food was outstanding, and the atmosphere had so much charm and character. The staff worked seamlessly together and were incredibly warm and welcoming. “This was my first time eating at Douglas Avenue diner and it was really good. I enjoyed the jumbo shrimp on fish fry Fridays. I got the coleslaw and potato pancake as my sides and oh it was amazing. Not everyone’s coleslaw makes the cut but this one was quite tasty. I didn’t catch our waitresses name but she was fun and attentive and carried great conversation. It was very clean inside. I even noticed the front staff helping hold the door open for an elderly woman coming inside. I can’t wait to come back and try breakfast.“
