“Yes... it's a pub but just not a pub. It supports bands that pass thru, but they now have added a kitchen that serves a bit of variety of dishes plus rib tips and brisket, which was very good but slightly tough for my liking.The other thing I like was no tiny containers for taking your spork for the one spoonful. I'm so glad this one is very close to the compound, too.“
“We were greeted by the friendliest waitress. We got 2 coffee, a hot cocoa and waters placed at our table almost instantly.I ordered the chicken fried steak with hash browns and rye toast. My partner got the Denver omelet with house fries.If I lived here, I'd be so fat because I would come here weekly for that chicken fried steak for sure. But 10 out 10 I'd get the house fries. “My husband and I went to Vero last night to celebrate our anniversary, and it's the first time we've gone back since they reopened. I love the changes they've made with a focus on small, shareable plates which is one of my favorite ways to dine. The food was outstanding, and the staff were all pleasant and efficient. I'm excited to have Vero back and even better than it was before.“
“We've eaten here a few times and all of our food has been good! The flat fries are a hit. Service is friendly, but our food took a very long time, especially most recently. They were busy when we came in, but it seemed like most everyone else already had their food, so I didn't expect to have to wait as long as we did; however, everything was cooked properly (fish frys and flat fries) and came out hot.My husband appreciates the beer and liquor selection, and most items are listed with prices conveniently on their screens at the end of the bar.I like the atmosphere here better than most bars. “Would drive by and would rarely see many cars there but the day I was there, a Saturday, it was full. My meal of an omelet was very good. I was surprised at the ambiance of it. “Cool bar and restaurant. Food was great. Excellent beer selection and one of the best bloody Marys I have had in a while. Lots of TV's good spot to grab some food, a few drinks and watch a game. They also had a good selection of pinball machines.“
“Tried the Cajun shrimp tacos, prime rib dip, bacon Brussel sprouts and calamari. All fantastic. My husband and I sat at the bar and had the pleasure of meeting the owners. Both are very great people. We have been to this place once before and both experiences were wonderful. Great atmosphere and food. The bartenders are phenomenal and I am so happy I picked this bar/restaurant for our get together. “The service was dynamite, from taking our coats and hanging them on the back of the chair to doting on us for water drinks and finally the food. Then, after we'd eaten, we had an after dinner drink, and we were allowed to stay and chat. Will be spreading the news.Dietary restrictions: I have a gluten intolerance, I had a wonderful salad with salmon and blue cheese dressing. Twelve hours later, I have not suffered from cross contamination.“

Wait for food was long,but waitress did tell us they only had one cook, but it's more a social get together so we had time to talk with our group ,which was good. The more I looked around the more I saw. 1 bartender/cook/wait staff person. But she was great. Fish was perfect. I had parmesan garlic fries Mom had potato pancakes.“
“I've been eating here since they opened in 2000. I've never had a bad meal or bad service. First getting to know Scott and talking food with him sometimes over a drink at the bar, and then seeing his daughter Cory take over the reins... great people and glad to see the next generation doing the same great stuff. Even bought a few custom knives from a bladesmith Scott recommended.“
