I had the special which was a veal strip steak. It was more like a roast it was so thick. “This place is amazing! I had an unplanned surgery and when they lifted my diet restrictions, the first thing I saw was the ricotta pancakes with lemon and strawberries. That was the best choice I made. The pancakes were whole grain but they were light and fluffy. I think it was lemon curd spread on the top with sliced strawberries on top of that. The perfect mix of tangy and sweet. Next time I’m trying the egg sandwich and hopefully it won’t be because I’m in a hospital. I suggest everyone go there at least once.“

“I first want to say that we had an exceptional server when my son and I dined at Texas Roadhouse this evening. (April 22, 2024} I can not say enough good things about her. She was on top of everything. I think she might have even been in charge of the bar area too. She did not seem to let any of those things phase her. She preformed her job professionally, but had a warm personality you could not help but like. I wanted to donate 10% of my dinner cost for Dine to Donate. She told me that she would take care of that for us. I was so impressed how she remembered to inform us of this when we were ready to pay the bill at the end of our dinner. She informed me that she left the other copy of the bill in the box where they placed the receipts. The 10% of the total food purchase would go the their "Our Harmony Club." This is a non-profit that provides social day programs for elderly members of our community. Was easy to google about it if you want more information about this. My son and I were more than happpy to tip well . This was a women that knew her job and strove to preform it effectively. My birthday was April 16th. I did not realize that there was a time limit on my birthday treat email from Texas Roadhouse, but the manager took this off the bill for me anyway. I had mentioned it when we begun to order. Of course our server remembered about this and had that all taken care of for me and also informed me of this before she took our order. The people up front were wonderful too. The one young man saw that I had a cane and quickly told me "let me open the door for you." I am disabled and you would not believe the number of times that people do not pay attention to that fact. I really wish that I could remember her name (I also have memory problems as a part of my disability) We were seated by the bar and we got there about 8pm. I am sure the manager will remember about this. Oh a shout out to the people preparing the food. Everything tasted fantastic!“

“My family and I went here today after my father's burial ceremony at the Southern Wisconsin Veteran's cemetery. We had a group of about 17 people. My mom had called ahead to make a reservation, and even though we were a little early, the staff was so kind to us, and very accommodating. Our food was great, the service was phenomenal for a group of our size, and my cappuccino was one of the most delicious I've ever had. I am so thankful to the staff for their patience and kindness. “For a chain breakfast restaurant, it was very good. The service was attentive and speedy, especially considering it was a busy Sunday morning. We had the biscuit and gravy, the works omelette and the farmhouse skillet. They all looked great, with fresh ingredients and were cooked perfectly. We especially liked the avocado, eggs, and potatoes in the skillet. It was very balanced both in texture and taste. The mocha mint iced coffee was a great finishing dessert. When we stopped by for lunch we learned that breakfast foods can be ordered during the lunch hour so we were excited to try everything. At the restaurant you need to order at the counter but then they bring everything to you. I do recommend bringing cash for a tip as their ATM was out of service when we visited and unfortunately there is no tip line on the credit card slip when you order. You can’t get cash back either with a purchase so cash is really the only way. The store itself has some good stuff like apple cider donuts, apple butter, various preserves, etc to check out so I recommend stopping by to see what they have.“
“This was my third or fourth time going to see China Lights. All the exhibits were new this year and I was blown away by how beautiful they were and how much more was there to enjoy. The animation and lighting was so detailed and there were so many more interactive things for the children to do. I was especially fascinated by the Rock Man who looked like a big boulder and unfolded into a huge transformer who talked and moved. One of the most beautiful moments for me was looking over the area where the path zigzagged back and forth and saw all these delicate lights waving back and forth in the breeze like a fairyland.“

One of the locals told me tgat the Prime Rib can't be beat (served on Mondays) and if you order steal tacos on Thursday, they use the left over Prime Rib. Hard to beat that. “My husband and I went to Vero last night to celebrate our anniversary, and it's the first time we've gone back since they reopened. The breakfast Burrito was a good size, bigger than expected as it was about standard burrito size (you know how some places offer smaller breakfast sized burritos) The corndogs were pretty good, although they were about half the size the picture online made them appear. Fries did not disappoint and my son said his burger sliders were good. Overall it seems like you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Employees seemed in good spirits too.“
