China Lights 2026 was phenomenal. The performance was very well done and entertaining. The lanterns were beautiful and whimsical.
There were a lot of people but everyone was really patient and polite. Wheelchair and mobility equipment could go through the lantern trails and areas with cords or other things were covered and lit up so that they would cause minimal issue with wheelchairs, strollers, etc.

Saw the China Lights. It was really pretty and such an enjoyable time with yummy food and fun activities.

Visitors can enjoy hot drinks and treats like fried Oreos. The newer garden area for kids is absolutely beautiful and truly enjoyed, especially with all the musical instruments. Despite some heat waves, the maintenance given to the property is impressive and shows a great deal of care. Margie's Garden was the most beautiful. The park is very clean and welcoming, with areas to sit and relax. Boerner Botanical Gardens offers a colorful and engaging experience for all ages.
