“Quite a lot in bloom.
We were about 10 days early for peonies in mass bloom. About 10 days late for mass bloom of lilac, tulips, and others. Figure we will go close to may 1 and june 1 to see best of different flowers.
Maybe July 1 give or take for roses, only a couple blooming

People are always nice, always a lot of work being done to make nicer.

Peaceful, especially during week. And early in season. Good value for a couple or hours of enjoyment, in my opinion.
We, also, use for ideas for our own yard. Most things are well labeled.

They were digging up tulip bulbs and selling 10 for 5 bucks. Seems like a really good value to me.“

“Solid 5 for their Thalassery Chicken Biryani; visited two different times 6 months apart but the taste is still same;
Some people also call it the Malabar Style; but definitely a recommended one. Not sure about other items but the prices are definitely decent.

“Had to stop in last night with friends to try the nuggets and caviar and I could have eaten them all day. Absolutely delicious.
Everyone at our table loved the Caesar fries, genius idea.
The oysters were delicious and fresh and loved the fried capers on the deviled eggs.
The only disappointment was the lobster roll. That was the saddest lobster I have ever seen, dried out like it had been microwaved.
Our waitstaff forgot about us the end of meal check but otherwise was friendly and tried with the drink recommendations.
Despite the lobster, we'll be back again for more oysters and nuggets :) Thank you!“

“Went to The Capital Grille for a business dinner meeting and we both selected the restaurant week menu. The sea bass was excellent, food portions perfect. Unfortunately, my business guest's steak was served overcooked and dry. However I want to highlight a few important details...

1. A manager approached our table and apologized for a delay on our food - honestly we didn't even notice and the fact that she brought it to our attention was amazing!

2. When we expressed that the steak was overcooked and not the M.Well temp not only were they apologetic but the restaurant went above and beyond our expectations to take care of us!!

The entries had lots of flavor and the chicken was really tender. If the restaurant is full, be aware it might take longer to get your food.“

“Always come hungry! I always split a bag with someone. I enjoy their crab legs and shrimp. This time I ordered a bag of shrimp. It comes with potatos, corn, and a slice of corn bread. I always add broccoli and cauliflower. I also recommend getting a side of white rice as it pairs nicely w the seasoned butter sauce. Their cajun and everything sauces are yummy 😋“

“Birthday dinner for my 8YO daughter. Shout out to the entire staff at Wonita Sushi Seafood and Bar. They were super patient with the kids, waiter was awesome and even brought an extra dessert after simply noticing my daughter looking with envy at her brothers choice. Then waiting for the bill, the host (manager/owner?) noticed the kids eyeballing the lobster tank and he pulled up a stool for them to get a better look. He explained to the kids the growth rate of lobsters and we explained it was my daughters birthday dinner. Walking to the car, he chased us into the parking lot and gave her a special birthday stuffed animal. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been this impressed with service. Especially as it was just another day to them, we didn’t mention the bday until leaving. We had planned a different place that is closed on Mondays. Glad we tried Wonita. They left a very favorable impression on both kids and they both said they want all future birthdays at Wonita!!“

Service was great — they offered to replace the clams which weren’t open. Terrific value for the price. Seafood was fresh. Crab and crayfish were great. Shrimp was hands down my favorite. The platter comes with potatoes and corn, but would suggest ordering some additional potatoes to go with the flavorful sauce.“

“I always enjoyed Tu Casa. The food is good and the service is excellent. The only issue is that we both asked for no rice and beans with our dinners. So, instead of charging us the dinner price we got À la carte price, three tacos without rice and beans $2-3 more expensive than the dinner. Two chimis with a side of sour cream and a side of guac and no rice and beans…you guessed it $6-7 more than the dinner. Including two $4.50 glasses of ice tea our lunch was $48.42, unfortunate.“

She gave us some great recommendations that were absolutely delicious. We started with sharing a cup of corn and crab chowder, beet and goat cheese salad and sautéed crawfish with crossttini. Everything was fantastic, not to spicy hot just seasoned well. Main course was also great, steak and mashed potatoes....super tender and juicy steak came out exactly like we ordered...perfect meduim rare. That doesn't happen often. Also had the blacken salmon with asparagus and beans and rice. Again can't say enough it was delicious. Then to top the evening off we shared the beneignts with a fruit sauce. “For years I wondered about this place, finally stopped in. The atmosphere was quiet and the decor perfect for a seafood restaurant. The wait staff was helpful, I had many questions since it was my first time there. There were several interesting choices and it took a minute to choose. The food was flavorful, displayed beautifully, and portions were plenty. It was reasonably priced selections but, some of the seafood was a bit hielegh priced. Market price was listed and visible before you make your selection. I was pleasantly surprised by this little hidden gem and will be back again.“
