“I recently dined here while I was on vacation. I got the all you can eat ribs on Saturday and both the pork and beef were really good. The cole slaw was really good. It was well priced. I took a little away because the restaurant felt a little dated. I would defiantly eat here again if I am in the area.“

Our food was phenomenal, we ordered seconds of the Jamaican goat and the duck wontons. The restaurant offered to let us sample the fall dessert menu ahead of time for free, this was the best restaurant experience I've ever had, you've got a life long customer from here on out. “Mother's Day brunch at the new location of Blue Bear Que. Blue Bear has always offered great smoked BBQ and farm-to-table entrees, sides and desserts, and there is no letdown in food quality with their move to The Nash building in downtown Racine, WI. The restaurant is in the atrium of the Indian motorcycle dealer, with great views of classic bikes while you eat. Sunday brunch was fantastic, from the drinks to the entrees. The smoked pork hash was particularly good! Looking forward to my next visit!“

“We just went here for lunch while up in Kenosha for the day and everything was OUTSTANDING. We loved the environment. Everyone was so friendly. They have a patio where you can bring your dog. I had the cheeseburger quesadilla appetizer and it was so good. I'm not usually a chipotle person but it was just the right amount of heat. My fiancé and I shared the loaded fries and they were also good. But the star of the show was the corned beef tacos. They were so fresh and delicious. The corned beef is so tender and flavorful. I took a chocolate cake slice to go and can't wait to try that when I'm not so stuffed. We will definitely be back! My fiancé said he wishes he could go back for dinner tonight!“

“We decided not to cook this Thanksgiving so ordered the turkey feast from the Holler. Based on the many wonderful breakfasts and lunches we've had there we knew it was a high bar to achieve for this holiday. The feast was amazing!! It was to feed 4 to 6 but the turkey easily gave us wonderful leftovers along with the sides. The sweet potato casserole was a special treat and the cranberry relish brought back memories. The apple, pecan and pumpkin pies were a big hit. Our 10 month old granddaughter enjoyed her first Thanksgiving too. Now we're planning to buy the Christmas feast next.“

“UPT is our go-to Friday night fish fry spot. We have tried all the menu items over the years since Angie became the owner, and you can't go wrong with any choice. Fish is dipped in a lighter batter that doesn't overwhelm the flaky meat. I believe you can also order a baked cod entree. Shrimp are huge and are breaded. The extra large walleye filet with onion rings is my fave. It is voted #1 fish fry in Kenosha county for good reason!“

“This was my first time eating at Douglas Avenue diner and it was really good. I enjoyed the jumbo shrimp on fish fry Fridays. I got the coleslaw and potato pancake as my sides and oh it was amazing. Not everyone’s coleslaw makes the cut but this one was quite tasty. I didn’t catch our waitresses name but she was fun and attentive and carried great conversation. It was very clean inside. I even noticed the front staff helping hold the door open for an elderly woman coming inside. I can’t wait to come back and try breakfast.“
