“We decided not to cook this Thanksgiving so ordered the turkey feast from the Holler. Based on the many wonderful breakfasts and lunches we've had there we knew it was a high bar to achieve for this holiday. The feast was amazing!! It was to feed 4 to 6 but the turkey easily gave us wonderful leftovers along with the sides. The sweet potato casserole was a special treat and the cranberry relish brought back memories. The apple, pecan and pumpkin pies were a big hit. Our 10 month old granddaughter enjoyed her first Thanksgiving too. Now we're planning to buy the Christmas feast next.“

Everyone loved it. our waitress Emma was a pure delight. It was pretty busy when we got there and she never missed a beat. Very friendly, attentive, and prompt. “A very relaxing space with a wide range of ages. Typical bar food but the fries are amazing and burgers can be stuffed and were delicious. Deep fried pickle spears are a new favorite. Our server, Lena, was manning the bar and tables by herself on a busy Friday night. She did extremely well. The guys at the grill were focused and just kept pumping out the food. I enjoyed the spin wheel. Great place to spend an early Friday night. Fun aesthetic, as it is like a garage.“

“Place is an oxymoron. We had the most incredible filets- cut like butter. One medium and the other medium rare, just as we ordered. Then the desert came. Tacky costco brand individual terimisu. I wouldn’t recommend any of their desserts, ever. I’ve tried them all over the years. Aside from desserts, every plate is wonderful. Fall menu came out last week- my dog and I are really missing the smoked pork chop. Pet friendly patio with cover from the elements.“

“I was at Olive tree restaurant for breakfast with my family about 5 years ago for the first time and we got about every month now I definitely recommend the omelets and the skillets, and of course the Euro's they the best I have ever had and it’s one of the best sit down restaurants in down town Kenosha far better than Frank’s.“

“Really enjoyed our visit to MBC. Our bartender, Christian, was spot on. She answered my many questions quickly and correctly. A small mix-up in my order was remedied immediately. Good draft selection. (32 0z. option, mmm). Cheese curd sampler outstanding. The two of us almost couldn't eat more. Glad we did, though. Double patty smash burger, yummy. Three bacon choices, yummy. (Think large Steak and Shake, but GOOD). Fresh cut fries, battered fries, and tons of menu choices. Will be back.“

“$16 for a patty melt and fries. $8 for a bowl of chili. Patty melt had a bit of grilled taste, bread could be a bit more ‘buttered and browned’ for my liking. Flavor of chili was outstanding… loved it.

Friend had the ultimate combo for $38 -salmon, ribeye, beef ribs. The combo portions seemed a bit light to me, but my friend liked it. Came with a salad, waffle and sweet potato fries.

We both had soda, which tasted fine.

In all the bill came out to $86 with tip.“

“Mother's Day brunch at the new location of Blue Bear Que. Blue Bear has always offered great smoked BBQ and farm-to-table entrees, sides and desserts, and there is no letdown in food quality with their move to The Nash building in downtown Racine, WI. The restaurant is in the atrium of the Indian motorcycle dealer, with great views of classic bikes while you eat. Sunday brunch was fantastic, from the drinks to the entrees. The smoked pork hash was particularly good! Looking forward to my next visit!“

“We had a lovely experience on the beautiful, secluded patio for my husband's birthday. Our server was Maya, who took very good care of us, and timed our shared plates just right. We had the crab stuffed poblano pepper (delicious), 6 oysters on the half shell (very fresh!) also the tuna sashimi dish, which was outstanding, and the duck tenderloin which was my favorite, and was accompanied with an Asian-inspired slaw. We each had three of the signature cocktails, which were delicious. Overall, an absolutely wonderful evening from start to finish“

“We just went here for lunch while up in Kenosha for the day and everything was OUTSTANDING. We loved the environment. Everyone was so friendly. They have a patio where you can bring your dog. I had the cheeseburger quesadilla appetizer and it was so good. I'm not usually a chipotle person but it was just the right amount of heat. My fiancé and I shared the loaded fries and they were also good. But the star of the show was the corned beef tacos. They were so fresh and delicious. The corned beef is so tender and flavorful. I took a chocolate cake slice to go and can't wait to try that when I'm not so stuffed. We will definitely be back! My fiancé said he wishes he could go back for dinner tonight!“

“We went to Kenosha’s Mission BBQ. I was extremely pleased with the quality of service from the minute we walked in. We were greeted by Alex as if we were old friends. I need to add that I had never met this young man before walking in the door. I have dietary restrictions. He helped me place my order, provided nutrition lists and helped to make sure everything I ordered matched my needs. I have never had any restaurant help me with such sincerity before. We were also helped by a second employee to make sure the elderly person with us had the best seat for her needs. She later stopped back to see how everything else was. In addition, Alex stopped back to see if I was happy with the food choices he helped me choose. We were again surprised when Alex stopped back yet again with a special dessert treat and helped me to determine how much of it I could safely eat. I can only say “Wow!” I will certainly go back here again and if I had the ability I’d give Alex a raise! We were made to feel as if we mattered not just as customers but as people. I wish more places had employees Thank you Alex! If this is how Mission BBQ provides service more companies could learn from them and from Alex.“
