Really fun unique experience in a great location. The QR code ordering was something I had never seen before, but very convenient for ordering lots of small dishes to try and share throughout the evening.The fresh juices were amazing and their margaritas looked delicious. We loved the elote in a bowl, chorizo tacos, and pineapple tacos especially. The salsa roja was also incredible.The interior is also very cute, with lots and lots of seating. Upscale tacos with a rustic decor. Service reminds me a bit of sushi restaurants, you fill out a little ticket and put it on a clamp on your table. If you want a server for something there's another card you can put up. Really like this style and it keeps this moving.Everything is small plate a la carte, you can get as much or as little as you like. Tacos were very flavorful and there's a good selection of hot sauces.Tequila menu is extensive, there's a rotating margarita menu and all of the juice is fresh squeezed.Overall good place to go with a small group, the bill can add up quickly though.

Went here for lunch today, and loved it. Great vibe and the food is excellent. Ceviche was fantastic, and the baja fish tacos are excellent. Of all the taco places in wicker park, this is easily the best. WIll absolutely be back.
On 3 separate occasions bar taco Chicago has messed up my order regarding allergies. They have the option of selecting your allergies in the app(which makes you feel more safe than the average restaurant experience) but yet they completely ignore them. Thankfully 2 out of the 3 times I caught it before I ate the items but the third time ended in a not so happy experience. One time they did refund my order but that doesn’t give back the time I spent seriously ill and with a closed throat. Do better bar taco.Great food but do not recommend for people with allergies. 3 x is my max- will never return which stinks because the food is actually pretty decent.

Pretty good. We got take out on saturday for lunch but we picked it up so i got to see the inside. It’s got a great atmosphere and the food was good. The only thing i would suggest is to increase the portion size a little so it’s comparable to the other taco places in town, or give serving size suggestions. The tacos are on the small size so if you normally eat 2 get 3 or similar when you’re ordering. Was good food though and they have more than just tacos which is nice compared to other taco places.
