Like other reviews have pointed out, do NOT get the ice cream cakes on god. They have a history of getting flavors wrong and you think you got the right one because the box says its what you ordered? Haha WRONG ACTUALLY surprise cut into it and its literally not what the label says smh
Staff refused to help with making it the right cake because it “was cut into” girlie how are we supposed to know the flavor is wrong otherwise?? We gonna use telepathy to mind read into the cake??? Wow magicians out here (the magic is stealing ur money)
Luckily the birthday party went okay since none of the guests had allergies but this is a serious food safety concern. Imagine ordering ice cream cakes with non-nut flavors and ingredients and it turns out they oopsied peanut butter ice cream in it, NO proper labeling or refund. Guess the kids with allergies can just die ???
Anyway if ur child wants an ice cream cake PLEASSEEE go to carvel lol especially if they have any food allergies bc this place does not care
Also after eating the cake can confirm its not as good as carvel lmao lacks texture. 0/10 not worth dying for

The cashier charged extra for the cone of icecream then refused to fix it. The cashier was extremely rude. So did the manager. They were both extremely rude. Would not recommend

I have been here multiple times, and most recently I visited this place with a friend. We both got double scoops - one of cotton candy and icing on cake, and the other with winter white chocolate (it was also the flavor of the month) and chocolate fudge. All the flavors were very tasty! The pairing of the flavors was also very complementary! I am sure the next time I am in Chicago, I will get ice cream from here.

Why would you confirm an online milkshake order for 2 flavors of ice cream that you don't even have and then waste a driver's time making them go there, then call me and tell me. It's almost like the people working here are too incompetent to make a single logical decision to help anyone else. Hyde Park is worthless for food services.

We had ice cream in unique flavors such as banana pudding, birthday cake, and salted caramel brownie with a nice choice of toppings. The candy and sweets selection is good too.
I ordered a cake online using a valid discount, but they called early the next morning (using an unrecognizable CELL number) forcing me to pay full price or else they wouldn’t complete my order. Horrible service.

The type of people who don't understand anything you say until you pull your money out of your pocket and then all of a sudden the little light bulb finally kicks on in their head! And who was the guy with the big belly standing in the threshold of the door behind the register? Was he the plumber? Or was he like a janitor or security or something? What was he staring at me like that for? What a joke!
