The only good coffee shop on the west side of the tracks. Without this place hp is dead.
My first time at a Philz!! They don't have this franchise in nyc and I've been hearing all about it from the west coast influencers, so I had to stop by on my CHI visit. TBH, Philz is just like any standard coffee shop, offering different kinds of roasts, teas, and light bites.
I asked the cashier for a rec and they pointed to the popular flavors. I'm not a dark roast lover, but also wanted a good cup of coffee, so 1 got the Philtered Soul, which is their medium roast....read full review

Though some find prices a bit high, the quality keeps them coming back.
