Came here right off the airplane to start our family vacay. First time here so I was a bit confused about the reservations system and wanted fo make sure due to COVID. Contacted the restaurant and was helped by Kendra who gave me step by step directions on how to use YELP and the get in line system to secure our spot. When we arrived there was still over 20 parities ahead of us. Kendra was incredibly accommodating and moved us up. The service was exceptional and efficient. The food delicious. A home spot but worth the visit

Called this location using the number provided. Placed a order to go, paid for the order over the phone and was told it’ll be ready in 20 minutes. Went to the location to see that it appeared to be closed. I called the number back just to be informed that the number provided on google is the number to the location in Lincoln park, not downtown. Total waste of time and money. Needs to be updated ASAP

So this was my first time here. We met friends for brunch. We chose the spot because they had been here before and it's a black owned business. It's popular so using the waitlist feature on this app is a good idea. While standing outside, I was excited by just reading the menu and the specials. Everything sounded good but I've been there before. Taste would be the key. I was intrigued by the Snickers French Toast special and the French Toast Flight. I was torn until I found out there was a "Super" version of the flight that included the special! #SignFromGodSo I went with the Super Flight and a side of bacon. I was not disappointed. The bacon was nicely cooked, thick, and not fatty. The 5 "samples" (1 piece of toast for each) of the French toast in the flight were fantastic. My favorites of the five, if I had to choose, were Snickers and lemon but I cleaned my plate because they all were good. I can't wait to go back and try more. It may be a 30 minute drive but it's worth every minute to drive from Bronzeville to Lincoln Park. P.S. It is an indoor spot but they abide by Covid protocols really well. This was my first restaurant where we were indoors and I was very comfortable.

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! The food here compared to the original location is absolutely TERRIBLE! Nothing was hot and everything was extremely dry! The owners should be ashamed to have their name on this crap! ZERO stars needs to be an option.

A very family oriented atmosphere! Me and my girlfriend enjoyed a nice Sunday brunch with my niece. Their menu offers a variety of breakfast and lunch items that are delicious, and will defiantly exceed your expectations!
