Got takeout from here and it was very quick! We ordered several dishes in half portions (love that they offer that) and everything was amazing. The crispy pork with garlic rice was our favorite. We’ll definitely be back!

I appreciated the style and layout and overall menu concept and pricing, but the ceviche tasted more like an Italian vinaigrette or even a gazpacho (needs way more citrus and less tomato and vinegar). The lechon was on point

Having ordered fast food & just missed the bus, my husband and I came upon Bayan Ko. Seriously meant to be. Got a table for two right away. We ordered a half order veggie empanadas & a full beef empanada. They were bangingggg. Oh yeah, we started with Lobster dip served with some of the most delicious, nuttiest house-made crackers. We shared the small veggie Gulay that was served with a side of rice. On a 18degree night, everything was so comforting. Everything came out piping hot . Everything had such flavor. Filipino & Cuban flare was a cuisine I wish I knew about years ago, but so damn glad I know where to get it! Kudos to Bayan Ko. See y’all soon!

Food was absolutely amazing. All of the dishes have unique flavor and good texture. Everything warmed our hearts and tummies. However, our reservation was at 7pm but we didn't get to sit on our tables until 735pm because they were "a bit lagging". They made up for it by offering us drinks on the house. I loved their cocktails. The place was cozy but i think a little tiny. I'm hoping they would upgrade to a more spacious place and be able to accommodate more clients. Bayan Ko deserves the attention 👏 and the praises. My friends and I had a good dinner.

Exceptional course menu and cocktails! The deconstructed tamale was a standout, along with the service and cozy atmosphere. I would highly recommend dining here!

The food was really good, we would definitely go again, it’s like nothing I’d ever had before & I’ve had a lot of fine cuisine. Love their take on filipino/cuban fusion food. I’m interested to see how they develop their menu going forward. I would recommend going to try modern Filipino food!

I like their diner food even before they moved their regular menu from the main restaurant to the diner. But when I heard about them getting on to the Michelin list and having a pre-fixed menu, I had to try it for myself. And as much as I like their regular menu, they NEED WORK on their entire experience in their main restaurant if they ever want a Michelin Star. First off, the service was SLOPPY. You have one guy dressed as t-shirt and jeans and a lady who doesn’t look like she wants to be there. I got sat by the door. So, when people enter and leave I get a breeze of cool air. I put down a deposit of $10 when I reserved my spot and a deposit for the wine pairing, but was told it would be “refunded” back to me instead of applied to my final bill. By the way, I’m STILL waiting for that refund at the time of this post. The guy with the t-shirt was my server and had ZERO KNOWLEDGE of the wines he was serving me. No backstory of the wine, no explanation to why this was selected with the dish, NOTHING like a starred Michelin restaurant. “Here’s (insert name of wine). Enjoy”. Seriously, if you want that Star, you have to know the “Who What Where Why When and How” of what you’re serving. Plus, some of the wines were served in glasses I would not serve wine in. The last glass in particular looked just wrong. The food was just ok, nothing that says, “Wow” in my mind. Although, one dish in particular (the beef dish) was chewy in its medium rare (more like rare) state, not melt in your mouth as a Wagyu steak would be. Overall, like I said, I like the diner food. But they need work on their pre-fixe menu and service, especially if they want that Michelin Star or even be elevated to “Bib Gourmand”.

Came here for the dinner tasting menu and was thoroughly blown away by how good everything was. Highly recommend and price point was fair for the quality of the dishes.
