I intended to just try the juevos rancheros hand pie but make the half pint with chips my dinner for a Friday night. This would be my fifth time ordering the half-pint. They forgot my Coke with the delivery and were so kind to go back and get the coke in 10 degree weather. While waiting, I sampled the hand pie. It did not last the 5 minute round trip for them to get the coke and the burger still didn't last the night. No regerts.
Edit: 9/17/2025 - went there last night for a magic the gathering event and finally tried the pretzels. I'm still thinking about them the next day. I forgot I could be that impressed by food. Dear God, that was holistic.

After diner at B&B, lunch at Honey Pie and a third time for MTG Commander night I would go again if I hadn't moved. The staff are all interesting people, creating some of the events there and the food is always good. If you want to meet new people, this is a good place to find new friends.

I love Beard and Belly so much! They have excellent burgers and their fried chicken sandwich is so flavorful. The pies from the Honeypie Bakeshop are amazing. I especially like their chocolate chip cookies. Overall, definitely add Beard and Belly to your list of restaurants in Chicago to try.
