Let’s face it, pie is a dying dessert except in the neighborhood of Andersonville in Chicago. I just had the Cherry Limeade (POTM) and it was amazing. The filling was just the right amount of tart. The gram cracker crust snapped on every fork spike and the whipped cream floated! I came out here from NYC for the blues fest (ours sucks) and was told to check out Honeypie, I’m glad I listened. I’ll be back next year for blues and pie.
This has quickly become my go-to spot to pick up a sweet treat on the way home from the grocery store. The oatmeal cream pies are a delightful and nostalgic treat, and every pie I have tried has been an absolute delight (especially the mango lime 😍).
