We had 2 tables arrive for our 5:45 birthday dinner. Seated by 6. We requested next to each other, and that was accommodated. We mentioned we needed to be out before 7:50 to make our next reservation. They served the other table first and didn't start our food until after 7:15 (1.5 hours after arriving). They kept skipping over my boyfriend (his birthday) and we ended up needing to leave before we got all of our food. Our full bill was over $1,600. I go to Benihana every...
The food was pretty good, Our Chef Repeatedly dropped knives and splattered my girlfriend with oil and no it wasn't apart of the show, It was an accident but still seemed like it was his first day, Waitress didn't refill drinks the entire time until it was time to go.. Little disappointed but she was still very nice.
We had the best birthday celebration for my husband at Benihana! The food was incredible, service was phenomenal, ambiance was fun and our group of 28 years olds felt like we were kids again Gregg rolled out the red carpet for us and made sure we had a perfect nice! This might be the start of a new birthday tradition would highly recommend you check out the Benihana on Michigan Ave!
