This Starbucks is located in the 875 N. Michigan Ave building, formerly known as the John Hancock building. If coming from outside the building, you need to go down the stairs from the sidewalk to get to it. It is a smaller store with very little seating so this is more of a to-go coffee spot, not a place to hang out. Amarije, who took our order, was the shining light of this location. In the heart of tourist venues, it was incredibly busy, with multiple languages being spoken. Amarije had amazing energy, name memory, and skills of a high-end sales veteran. Starbucks corporate better hold onto this young lady. Wow! Overall, great cold brew and Pink drink.Kid-friendliness: My 13yr old wanted it for the Pink Drink, and the Cookies and Cream Cake Pop.

I visited on a weekend day. It was early afternoon. The barista who waited on me was pleasant. The barista who prepared my drink did so accurately. There was a low energy vibe, basically calm, only a couple of patrons. Service was quick. I've been on a weekday and it was very busy. There is more outside space than inside dining space.
