I know there isn’t much better in the airport, but if you’re reading this, “turn around and go somewhere else.” Food was horrible, service was horrible and was way overpriced. Maybe whoever is in charge of the food courts at the airport will finally get the hint and get some good food.

Waited 35 minutes to be told they were out of everything and could not even give me a full refund because I tipped. Only one food manager for the entire airport who was nowhere to be found for 15 minutes. All food places had a 30-120 minute wait. Customer service only lets you leave a message and isn't there on weekends.

We were surprised by how tasty the dishes we ordered were. Chicken was tender with no gristle or fat. Ingredients seem to be high quality. We would order Big Bowl again even if it were not at Midway airport!

30 minute wait while 4 employees prepared the food. No excuse to be that long. We were the first to order with no one in front of us at 3:47pm. Should have been ready. Lots of unhappy customers.

Staff is so rude, a staff member named jasimine was so rude when we asked after 25 minutes how much time it will take more because we have to catch connected flight. She said so bluntly you want refund or wait. There was not even a little courtesy in her. She was very annoying & don’t wanna work. I wish & Hope that amount of food & staff’s behaviour can justify the price travellers paid.
$45 for a small bowl of beef & broccoli, 2 waters, and egg roll, everything was old, should've bought an sandwich from the bookstore.

Staff was fine but this location will diminish the brand. It tasted soooo basic for what should be restaurant quality food. Panda Express is way better. Definitely not worth 22 bucks. White rice 🍚 is recommended. The noodles and fried rice looked over seasoned. They also gave me the last scrapings of meat too. It was edible but a let down.

I’m extremely disappointed with this place. Not only are the prices ridiculous for the amount of food you (don’t) get, but, as another review mentioned, with a name like “Big Bowl”, the size of the main portion of the meal is significantly lacking. The flavor of the “orange” chicken is definitely not like any other orange chicken we’ve ever had, and the rice tasted more like overcooked peppered rice than a Chinese fried rice. The only decent thing about this combo was the chicken egg roll. I don’t know if these prices are typical of this establishment, or if they’re inflated because it’s the airport location. Regardless, I can’t believe I had to pay $39 for ONE combo meal and 2 fountain drinks. See included photos. Big Bowl, do better!
