The bartenders here are beyond amazing. They are attentive and knowledgeable. I came in for a celebration not knowing what we wanted to drink. Our bartenders offered us a creation of their own and it's my new and forever favorite cocktail. Food was delicious and the whole place had such a good vibe. Definitely coming back 10/10

Big Chicks is my north side Woodlawn Tap. As a Southsider, I am pleasantly surprised when I find a spot north of Wacker that has that homey feel. I met the owner Michelle today. She is a special lady. I will be back there in 5 hours. I can’t wait to see Michael and Money. Best, Rochelle

I consider Big Chicks my neighborhood bar and have visited it quite a bit over the last 5 years at all times of day and night. It's nothing fancy, but overall the food is solid and the service is great and the atmosphere is very welcoming. They almost always have a decent amount of people and it rarely feels packed. Definitely worth checking out!

Food heavily underseasoned, lacks basic salt and pepper. Also they rush you out. Nice interior design.
The bartender was really nice and the drinks were good! The place is unfortunately cash only which I found to be pretty odd, but all in all, it was a good spot for a quick drink.

The tuna melt on rye was excellent and the sweet potato fries are great with the chipotle mayo. Steak is lovely. Service is fast and friendly. Of course we went on a Friday not the weekend. I really love the complimentary brunch bread, too. Most of all, it’s great to support a queer owned business with so much history. Great brunch and lunch spot!

Overall I usually enjoy my meals at Tweet/ Big Chicks. But this time I was very disappointed! With the way service goes there's no check in from bartenders once food is delivered to your table you're pretty much on your own. My fish was literally so soggy with oil that it was unedible as were my tater tots. I left the fish and boxed the tots(a day and loads of paper towels later, the tots were a bit less greasy). I've gotten my exact order before, with similar results which is why I'm posting. Quality control is difficult when you're not doing check backs with customers, hopefully things will improve.
