We stopped by Big Star before the Cubs game. Place our order for 4 tacos at 12:40pm and still no food by 1:30pm. We got up and left. I think there was a computer problem. Waitress avoided our table.
Went there after today's cubs game, we made a reservation and were sat immediately. Server took a few minutes but that is to be expected so many tables arriving at once. Got our app and drinks super quickly, she must have gotten busy bc took a while to grab our main orders. My partners food came, and then mine never did. As I was trying to find the server I noticed her talking to a manager, he came back and said my meal would be comped and it should be alright, as to which I had said it's okay I'm okay having this taken off the bill, but they brought over a gift card for us to return, and I really appreciated it. I understand they were probably extremely slammed all at once! I'll definitely be returning as they really took care of us after!
**FOOD POISONING ALERT!!!** My boyfriend got food poisoning from the fish tacos, and other customers have reported the same issue. Clearly unsanitary and a total waste of money. **Avoid this place at all costs!**

I went to big star in Wrigleyville for the first time today by accident. I stumbled in and was greeted by pleasant fellow by the name of cosmo. He had great customer service and checked on us periodically. Amazing service amazing food! Will definitely be back!

My wife and I had the "Restaurant-Week Special." The flautas had no taste, the birria was watery and had a displeasing deep smoky flavor and then to top it off the brownie came with sour cream on it. They offered to give us another one without the "vanilla cream." It was more palatable but tasted to be made with an artificial sweeter like the jamaica which will be discussed and greatly underwhelmed us.
The agua de jamaica that I ordered was bitter. I've been drinking jamaica for the last 30+ years and that was the worst one I have ever had.
We were deeply disappointed in our meal to say the least.

Eve was great, food was well priced and came out fast. Only thing that would make it better was churros with chocolate!

Worst food I have ever had. Salty, and way too spicy. Even the kids meal.
Waiter was excellent.

Unfortunately I never got the chance to try the food because I was left at the host desk for 15 mins ( no host ) wasn’t sure if I was supposed seat my self or wait there forever never got greeted only received dirty looks from bartender. Maybe this is a whites only restaurant? .. Very pretty decor.
