I don’t even know where to start 🤦🏻♀️
The bar service was terrible. There weren’t many people there in general so you would assume that the bartender would be a bit more attentive (nope-curly haired guy-didn’t bother to say his name which makes a customer feel more welcome sometimes)
Everything we ordered felt/tasted like it had been sitting in the kitchen all day waiting to be gotten rid of.
We couldn’t even finish it because the meat was stringy and hard.
The tortillas were like frisbees but a frisbee is much more fun than paying the price we paid.
The bartender only seemed slightly cordial when we were paying our tab and he couldn’t wait to get out of work (his own words)
I know it’s not Cubs season now but why does the quality drop? Do you stop caring about your patrons if you’re not making bank when Wrigley isnt busy?
Never going there again.
I’ll still frequent the other location-they know how to take care of people.

The perfect place for a Bears GameDay brunch or well any weekend! The chilaquiles tacos are YUMMY and innovative from your usual version of chilaquiles!! Still dreaming of these tacos 😋. The Crunch Star Wrap special was also delicious and I enjoyed the patatas con rajas version of it immensely. It was also quiet the Sunday of my visit and the waitress let us sit where the Bears game was best seen and chill after we were done eating. She didn't rush us at all.
Unfortunately we couldn't get served until our whole party arrived, which is very difficult for a party of 10+
Emma the manager was so kind, got us seated right away during the postseason cubs game and made sure everything came out perfect and in a timely manner. The burger, tacos, and chips were amazing!

Went to watch a Cubs playoff game. Had good view of TV and sound was on although you couldn't hear that well). Food was really good and drinks also good. Will return.
A fun, delicious, and reasonably priced place to go in Wrigleyville.

Please avoid unless you don't have time to walk anywhere else. The food was subpar especially for the crazy prices. I've had better tacos at a 3rd of the price. The alcoholic drinks were atrocious outside of the Old Fashion. I will say the mushroom taco was interesting and tasted great but all the other food was downright disappointing. Can't even say much about the wait staff besides nonexistent. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Overall we had a really good experience! We had a little bit of a late start with our reservation and some confusion using OpenTable. Once everything was figured out, we had the BEST experience! Our server was Eve and they did a great job providing us with an exceptional experience! Although they got busy, they always checked in on us and made sure everything was going well! We were pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food was! The tacos were delicious and there was extra hot sauce to add, which I appreciated. Will definitely considering coming back next time I’m in the area.

We visited Big Star prior to a Cubs game in August 2025, and it was the perfect place to grab some beverages. The atmosphere was fun and bright, and Mya (our bartender) was AWESOME!

Nachos were spectacular, tacos as well. Service was good. Just before a Cubs game, was not too crowded. $5 for a single 12oz can of Diet Coke is a little ridiculous but is what it is.

This location is massive, sort of felt forgotten. I love the green salsa. I enjoy the area itself so its nice to people watch and enjoy some tacos. A hit over priced for the amount you get, but good spot overall!
