I would usually come here in the afternoon, however one day I decided to come a bit earlier and to my dismay I encountered an unpleasant experience! I don’t know if it was a manager or the owner of the place he was mistreating a couple of the employees! This left such a horrible experience that left me not wanting to come here ever again! This happened a few weeks ago and I have not stepped foot in this restaurant since then! I hope those employees that were being mistreated quit and stood up for themselves and may they be blessed with better opportunities! I don’t support businesses where the owners or managers mistreat their employees or coworkers! Your employees and their hard work are what MAKE your business run! Do better! We are all human and there is no one above the other, we are all equal! I was baffled to see this unfold in front of the customers! The owner or manager needs to be more professional and speak right to his employees!

I was visiting Chicago & was faded at my hotel late night & ordered these tacos. When I tell you they were soooo good! I finished them & ordered 2 more. The flavor. The quality. Fire!

1 Star - Disrespectful and Discriminatory Treatment
I came with my two cousins to order tacos and was immediately greeted at the door by two officers and a manager named Nicole. She informed us that only online orders were being accepted. We respected that and began walking back to the car.
However, just moments later, Nicole allowed two Caucasian girls to enter and place their orders in person. I walked back to the door to politely ask why they were being served while we were turned away, and Nicole completely ignored me. I even recorded her taking their order after we were denied entry.
This review is to say: go where your money is respected. I’ve worked in the food industry for over 10 years, and my aunt owns a restaurant — we would never treat customers this way or show favoritism. This was a terrible experience and completely unacceptable behavior from management.

Edible, but a little too expensive and slow service. If you have a minute and it's before 9 pm, head north to Taqueria Express at Division and LaSalle. It's a hidden gem.
Carne asada tacos were on point! Found this place on google maps and it ended up being two blocks away from the hotel!! It’s open 24 hours!

Visiting Chicago and we randomly found this place, the Carne Asada tacos and Mexican rice are both absolutely delicious I’m so obsessed. The guacamole was extremely fresh as well. We also tried the chicken burrito which was really good and I don’t usually like burritos. We had to come here twice because of how good it is. Good service as we’ll, food comes out exactly like you order.
