They always have a great tap list, but the fish here is so incredibly bad. They fry it in oil that is way too hot. It's whitefish, so it should have a firm flaky texture, but it's mushy. I could spread the meat with my knife like a paste yet the batter on the outside was a very dark brown. And I detected zero salting. So bummed. ?

They do a magnificent job of keeping quality beers on tap, and keeping them fresh. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable about beer. The beer selection brings out some of the best brewers in the Chicago area, ie.. More, Phase 3, Energy City, etc. They also have a vast array of spirits available.

Amazing smash burger and awesome selection of beers, plus a shop attached with a wide variety of canned chilled beers to go!Kid-friendliness: We've taken our kids and sat on the patio in the summer and Fall several times now. The kids always enjoy the fries and sitting at the picnic tables outside.

This place is great! I use to go to the old Bitter Pops years ago when it was a small craft beer store with a neat little bar in back. Now it’s a much larger store/bar/restaurant/coffeeshop with a rustic small town general store vibe. It’s very welcoming and cool. Warm furnishings, reclaimed barn wood throughout, soft indie pop music, great service (co-founder Mike is a super friendly guy) soft lighting, and my peppermint mocha was delicious and very Christmasy. It’s a really wonderful place

Where else in Chicago can you find a three year vertical of bourbon county Stout look no further than Biter Pops. A small butt, friendly bar, with an attached to go craft, beer and whiskey establishment attached. I wasn’t able to try the food, but everything looked amazing. The staff was friendly and gave me a special on ordering. That normally wasn’t available. Very accommodating.
