Have been many times. This time was a bit disappointing. Food was a little “extra” on nearly every plate - too much of one ingredient overwhelmed the flavor of the rest of the dish. Service was good and great vibe.
Son ordered something he had before - grilled cheese with Kimchee and had short ribs put on it - omg.....amazing. I had drunken noodles - a little less sauce and more noodles would've made it perfect but good. Husband had wok dish - pretty good. Highlight was the string beans!!!
Anytime Bixi does their Owen & Engine pop-up, it's a must go. That doesn't suggest their standard menu isn't stellar; but, this review was for the pop-up. ALL seats in the house main level and upstairs all had reservations, including the bar. So, while you could go up to the bar and order a drink, there were no oppotunities to belly up to the bar, order a drink and eat drink, if you so desired. I had a reservation for a table, so this did not matter to me much;...
