Fantastic service and bbq. Moved from Texas and I can say the brisket reminds me of top quality BBQ from anywhere. It's juicy, moist and so tender and lots of flavor. You will not be disappointed. The brisket sandwich with Memphis sauce, pickles and Cole slaw is amazing.
I would kill for them to bring back their breakfast bowls. Besides that, it's on the better side of BBQ in Chicago. Their brisket and pulled pork are always good. Sides are very hit or miss and small for what you pay. A meal with two sides can easily get you into the $20 range. Everything is about the same price as you'd see from other good BBQ spots but smaller portions. The breakfast bowls were the real value deal here. Used to get them pretty much once a week. My sandwich was decent. Typical of your run of the mill overpriced chicken sandwich. Twas on the larger side but that's where the compliments end. I noticed that the chicken was sitting under a warmer when I arrived. The sandwich was about $15 & didn't come with a side nor drink which is on par with the subpar river north food but I don't be ordering this ever again.
