Great place for a morning coffee and a pastry. A bit pricey though.

I love Blue Bottle cafes and coffee, but this one specifically is so well located! It’s by the river, the indoor space is bathed in light. There is an outdoor space to sit by the river, it’s so nice. They have good pastries too.

The perfect place for connoisseurs of pure taste. Their signature New Orleans with ice is cool, sweet magic in a glass. Prices are high, but it's worth it for the impeccable quality of the beans and the drip brewing method.

Went for a hot chocolate to warm up one evening an hour before closing which was very rich and delicious. Let’s just say the display case was not the most appealing.

It was a very busy morning and my order was still behind several others when my Lyft arrived early. I went to cancel the order, but instead they accelerated its provision and I’m so grateful for the accommodation they provided me! It was so delicious, I would’ve been devastated to leave it behind. The almond croissant and mocha latte can’t be beat!

Order a coffee to-go, walk across the bridge, head down the stairs, and chill in the park by the water.

If it's too cold, this location's interior is warm and minimal, though, so win/win. Also, employees were surprisingly friendly!

As a coffee snob, Blue Bottle is my normal safe haven for coffee. About a half hour before closing, I went to get a coffee that I would have the next day cold before the Chicago Marathon. I ordered a single origin as they taste good despite being cold. I waited 5 minute, as per usual, and was told they didn’t have the beans. I said fine, I’ll take a batch brew. They then struggled to find if they had any and went to make me a pour over. But then they suddenly found a batch brew. They gave me a cookie for my wait. Well… having the coffee the next morning, it had a bunch of grounds in it.

I guess I won’t order a coffee from a coffee shop even when they are still open.

I love the location of this café, perfectly situated along the Chicago River with beautiful views. However, the service is quite slow, and the coffee itself is only average in quality. The prices are quite high as well.

Blue Bottle in Chicago delivers a refined coffee experience — its pour-overs and signature blends are praised for clarity, balanced acidity, and smooth flavor. The café has a clean, spacious interior with good seating and a relaxed vibe, and the Wolf Point location also offers a pleasant patio view over the river. It’s consistently busy (a sign of popularity), so expecting a little wait is wise.

All show no substance. My croissant looked great so I had high expectations, but it was barely edible. Not sure of undercooked or too dry or just stale (24hrs+)
