If you go for the small plates and yet have an appetite, pick two. For dinner I had the Costillas and Arroz Chaufa mixed with chorizo, shrimp, peppers, egg and scallions. Hit the spot. Excellent food and fantastic service. The waitress even jotted down some local spot recommendations. Great time all around.
The vibe here was amazing. When we walked in, there was a Flamenco dancer. (Disclaimer: My cousin and I are Peruvian so we are bias). The food was mediocre. We started with the grilled octopus. It could have done with more sauce on the side and possible some lime. I got the Lomo and it was pretty good. Checked out Boleo for dinner and drinks with a friend. Finding a solid rooftop in the Loop is tough, but this place absolutely delivers with their retractable roof. Ordered the beef empanadas, some ceviche, and two Pisco sours. The food has incredible flavor and the cocktails are poured perfectly. The music gets pretty lively later in the evening, making it a great spot to hang downtown.
