??Gross Pizza and Nasty comment made by owner: I went to Borelli’s yesterday and ordered a slice of pizza. The owner made an inappropriate joke to me while preparing my food. I was shocked and uncomfortable. I looked around the restaurant and realized the place was outdated and unsanitary. The owner wasn’t using any gloves when handling the food. I took a chance and wanted to support something local but I ended up being offended with a stomach ache! Very unhappy and won’t be recommending this to anyone.

Some of the best tavern style pizza in the city. I’ve lived nearby for decades and I’m sorry it’s taken me until now to try Borelli’s! I know food costs are up, and I WILL pay >$30 for this pizza, but damn.If it were a $22 pie this would be my undeniable favorite Chicago pizza joint.
